Ahmedabad Trip Day2 (Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, Bhadra fort,  Bhadrakali temple, Laal darwaja market, Jama mosque, Jhulta Minar, Auto World Vintage Car Museum, Law Garden)

1. Sidi Saiyyed Mosque (takes approx 20 mins):
Sidi Saiyad mosque became famous for it's latticework windows which are also known as Jalis. Construction of this mosque was done in Indi Saracenic Architecture. Sidi Saiyad ni jali becomes inspirations for logo of Indian Institute of management Ahmedabad.

2. Bhadra fort (takes approx 15 min): Sultan Ahmedshah Badha gave this precious fort. The portion of the Bhadra Fort that is open to the public is small in size. Nothing much to see inside fort. Terrific view of the market from the rooftop of the Bhadra Fort. Inside fort one Dargah of Pirbaba is here. People from all community come for darshan on Thursday.

3. Bhadrakali Temple (takes approx 10 mins): It is situated out side of fort. Very old & miracle Temple of Mahakali. Lots of people come everyday. When we visited there was a elephant outside temple and people could feed him bananas. This was awesome experience for my kid.
Outside market is laal darwaja market.
There are a lot of shopping vendors on the street nearby. Good place for street shopping. You should have real good bargaining skills to shop from here. Usually people come to shop replicas of the original brands in this market. Products are cheap and of inferior quality.

Jama Masjid (takes approx 20 mins):  Jama Masjid(literally Friday Mosque), also known as Jami or Jumma Mosque, is the most splendid mosque of Ahmedabad. Lying in the old walled city, the mosque is situated outside Bhadra Fort area, and near Teen Darwaza.

Jhulta Minar (Sidi Bashir Mosque)(Takes approx 20mins):
The Sidi Bashir Mosque due to its unique construction is called Jhulta Minar. A classic example of Super craftsmanship, Jhulta Minar is actually a part of the mosque Siddi Bashir. The Mosque has been constructed in such a manner that, if you apply a little force on its upper arc, the minar tends to sway. Now  a days you can not witness swing of minar as it has been restricted.

Dodge, Mercedes, Packard, Morris Cowley, Austin, Fiat, Ford, Daimlers and much more. Motorcycles and even ambulance was also part of this famous museum.
Overall campus including washroom is clean and well maintained. No fan or air conditioning. This place lack in lighting on the cars. If this place was in any other foreign country they would have highlighted each car as if its a rare diamond.
If you are a automobiles or car fan - it's worth going once.

Vintage Village Cafe:There is a small cafeteria which served fresh juices and snacks. Coconut water is must try.
We got another tough task to book a cab for returning to city since this place is little outl from the city.

Law Garden Market: one can find intricate traditional work on the flamboyant items on sale. It's a fabulous place to buy traditional Gujarati apparel, accessories, ornaments and handicraft with traditional handwork on them. You should have real good bargaining skills to shop from here. Don't buy anything in hurry. Bargains first and then compare with two or More shop price then decide i
We bought Garba Dress from here.
Behind this market there are lots of street food shop where you can try various things, when you are tired of the bargaining and shopping.
