Pataleshwar Temple and Mahatma Phule Museum, Pune, Maharashtra, India

Image
Pataleshwar Temple, Pune, India Address: Jangali Maharaj Rd, Revenue Colony, Shivajinagar, Pune, Maharashtra 411005 My Experience: Pataleshwar is a cave temple and just in the middle of the city. No dedicated parking for the temple. You need to park your car on the Jangli Maharaj roadside. We struggled for 4 wheeler parking and parked 800m away and came back by walk. It's a very peaceful temple. Mahatma Phule Museum, Pune, India Address:  1204/10, Ghole Rd, Shivajinagar, Pune, Maharashtra 411004 Timing: Opens every day from 9am to 5pm. Ticket: 10rs per person My experience: Very few people visit Mahatma Phule Museum . Not much to see and not well maintained. Very little lighting. 10rs ticket. You can spend  10 min to 30 min max.

Relaxing weekend trip to Kihim Beach and Kankeshwar Devasthan Temple from Pune

Image
Kihim Beach Distance: Located approx 118km from Ravet, Pune. Parking: Car parking space available near the beach. Stay This place located near a lot of cheap homestays. What did I like about Kihim Beach? It is a calm and clean beach. It is a less crowded beach in the Alibag area.  Nice view due to the coconut tree. Kihim Beach is one of the most popular Alibaug beaches with a long stretch of sandy beach intermittent by rocky stretches. The Khanderi and Underi fort's loom over the horizon at the Kihim Beach and along with the rocky stretches offer one of the most beautiful views of the setting sun. Quiet and calm. Good for walking and taking fresh air. chilling out here is a really fabulous experience. THERE ARE CLEAN BENCHES TO SIT! 99% percent of the beaches don't have even one bench to sit on, and even if they have, they aren't in a condition to sit. Activities To Do: Water sports are available here. Here rate is cheaper than Alibaug beach. - ...

Happy Street Pune

Image
Happy Street is an event concept by Times of India. It happens on Sunday (7am to 9:30am) at any location choosen by TOI. With the help of traffic police they block traffic on a  road and turn that road into fun space. I have been to 4 such events till date. There are so many activities specially for kids like pot colouring, drawing, painting, paper toy making, clay art and there are many more. There are some events for grown ups also like cycling, Live stage singing, Dancing/Excercising session, Tug-of-war, musical chair race, yoga n meditation sessions. All these activities are FREE. One thing, that i like the most about "Happy Street" is that every one over there has smile on their faces, not even a single person is stressed. Another thing that comes natuarlly is positive energy. Children also bring their skates, wave board, skateboard and cycles for having fun. Every time i try different things like skate boarding, cycling, meditation, Tug-of-war, dancing etc. I enjoy t...
