Please make sure to negotiate for the pony rides. Doodhpathri has a beautiful mountain landscape with a pine valley, lush-green meadows that looks like a green carpet, Shaliganga river, and snow. The place is called Doodh Pathri for its milky white water. A day trip is sufficient to witness the magnificence of this place. it has become a real hit among the local population On 5th May 2022, we started from Srinagar to Doodhpathri around 10am. It was a 50km drive which took around 2.5 hr. Our taxi driver parked the vehicle in parking. From there we had the option of doing sightseeing either by horse/pony (charge 1200rs each) or by walking.
