Panchgani Pune ( Ravet) to Panchgani: 125 km Trip Duration: 2days, 1 night We left Ravet, Pune at 11am and reached Panchgani at 3 pm. We took a break for snacks on the way. Stay @ Brick Land Hotel: We did not book the hotel so we looked at the Hotel Brickland and Millennium Park. Millennium Park was in the outer area and the hotel staff was not good so we did not stay there. We stayed at Hotel Brickland @2000rs per night. The staff was polite and the service was perfectly good. We had our lunch at the Hotel's own restaurant "Jaffer Bhai's Restaurant". The food was good. At 6pm we went to the Parsi point. Parsi Point: Hotel Brick land is just 2 km away from the Parsi point. The weather was good. We enjoyed sunset there n clicked some pics. then we went to Mapro Garden which is 6km from Panchgani. Mapro Garden, Panchgani: We did taste many drinks and chocolate samples there and bought some drink syrups and chocolates. Then we enjoyed dinner there and

And last 650m road to Kanifnath temple is steep and not good but i somehow managed to take my car to temple parking. Parking is FREE. We reached at 10:15am. There are approximate 90 stairs. Its very quite and beautiful temple. For main temple darshan there is a 2×2 size window. Only thin men can go inside but without shirt. We took darshan from outside only. There is a Hanuman temple and two other small temples inside the campus. We had some amazing misal pav, moong bhel, tak and nimboo pani at shop near parking. Bhandardara Trip (Heaven made of waterfalls, lakes and dams)

Bhandardara (Heaven made of waterfalls, lakes, and dams) Pune to Bhandardara: Best time to Visit : During Monsoon (June and July) How to Reach: There are two routes - Route1 (approx 169km )- Pune -Narayangaon- Ozar-Otur-Brhmanwada-Kotul-Rajur-Shendi-Bhandardara Route2 (approx 200km) - Pune -Chakan-Narayangaon-Sangamer-Akola-Ghoti-Bhandardara We tried Route1 because we wanted to visit Ozar Ganpati. We paid a 31 rs toll near Manchar. The road till Ozar is good after that road is very patchy and narrow so it took 1hr more than what Google map estimated. There were only 2-3 steep turns. Day1: Ozar Vighneshwar Ganpati : This is one of the Asthavianayak Temple . It's a very nice place. There was no crowd because we visited on Friday. Its a beautiful temple and had a grand entrance. In front of the temple, there is the Kukadi River with a great scenic view. We had our breakfast and headed to Bhandardara. Bhandardara :  The road from Ozar to Bhandardara is very

Pune to Lonavala, Shree Narayani Dham, Hadshi, Mulshi Weekend Trip

Pune to Lonavala, Shree Narayani Dham, Hadshi, Mulshi Trip Pune to Lonavala (Shree Narayani Dham Temple) : We started from Ravet at 9:30am and took expressway to reach Narayani Dham temple so we paid 138rs toll. We could have avoided this charge if we had taken old Pune Mumbai highway because for Ravet residents (need to give address proof like Aadhar card) there is no toll at Somatane Toll Naka. Narayani Dham temple has three deities statue ( Ganpati Ji, Sati Mata in Durga Mata Swaroop, Salasar Hanumanji). This place also has lodging, food facility, Gym, Gaushala, fountain, garden, and good parking space. After darshan, we took lunch there (112rs per person). We left for Hadshi temple at 2:15pm. Hadshi Temple (Sant Darshan Museum) The road from Lonavala to Hadshi Temple is very narrow. At some places (viewpoints, small waterfalls) people had parked vehicles on the roadside because it was weekend. So it was difficult to drive for a beginner like me, but somehow we managed.

Bhimashankar Trip - Har Har Mahadev

Bhimashankar Trip We visited Bhimashankar on 25th June 2017 (Sunday). Bhimashankar is approximate 120km from Pune and good for 1 day trip. We started at 6:15am from Ravet, Pune. Roads are good. No steep turns so as a beginner i liked the drive. Only one toll in between which takes 31rs. We had our awesome breakfast at Vitthal Kamat restaurant which is 20 km before Mancher. It was very scenic drive because of rain and fog. There is 20rs entry at Bhimashankar and 50rs parking. Almost no mobile signal in Bhimashankar. There were almost 150 stairs and a big queue. It took almost 2 hrs for us to get Darshan. We enjoyed our selfie session while standing in queue. We also visited Sitaram temple which is in the same premise. There are no good restaurants and restrooms. We enjoyed vadapav, bhajiya and corn chat. We also bought "peda" sweet. My kid was thrilled when he watched monkeys jumping around and eating mangoes. We wanted to visit Ozar ganpati but all time went due to
