Pune to Kanifnath Temple, Jejuri Temple & Mayureshwar Ganpati Temple

Trip Details:
Ravet - starting point
Kanifnath Mandir, bopgaon - 53.4km
Jejuri Temple - 28 km
Mayureshwar Ganpati Mandir, Morgaon - 18km
We started from Ravet at 8:30 am to Kanifnath Temple.

Kanifnath Temple: Road from Pune (Ravet) to Kanifnath is almost good. There were three steep turns. And last 650m road to Kanifnath temple is steep and not good but i somehow managed to take my car to temple parking. Parking is FREE. We reached at 10:15am. There are approximate 90 stairs. Its very quite and beautiful temple. For main temple darshan there is a 2×2 size window. Only thin men can go inside but without shirt. We took darshan from outside only. There is a Hanuman temple and two other small temples inside the campus. We had some amazing misal pav, moong bhel, tak and nimboo pani at shop near parking. At 12pm we started for Mayureshwar Ganpati. We decided to visit Jejuri temple at last because we already heard that at Jejuri temple we will get turmeric all over us.

Mayureshwar Ganpati Temple: We reached around 2 pm. It took 45mins in queue to get darshan. This is one of the Ashtavinayak Ganpati temples. We headed back to Jejuri at 3pm.

Jejuri Temple:  Entry fee is 30 rs/Vehicle. From entry till parking road is not good. Private parking is there near the entrance, charge is 50rs.
From the entrance only we started to see turmeric all over the place. We can smell it all around us. This place seems like a fort. There are around 150 stairs. When we reached at the temple we could see only yellow turmeric on the floor, in air and on people. My kid loved playing with turmeric. There is a darshan pass line for saving time people can by 50rs/person pass for fast darshan. We decided to go in the general queue. It took only 25min in queue for us to have darshan. There is a big metal tortoise infront of the temple. Overall this place is amazing and one can't forget this place.
We had some food in a restaurant near the parking.
We started for pune at 7pm and reached home by 9:10pm.
