Bhimashankar Trip - Har Har Mahadev
Bhimashankar Trip
We visited Bhimashankar on 25th June 2017 (Sunday). Bhimashankar is approximate 120km from Pune and good for 1 day trip. We started at 6:15am from Ravet, Pune.
Roads are good. No steep turns so as a beginner i liked the drive. Only one toll in between which takes 31rs. We had our awesome breakfast at Vitthal Kamat restaurant which is 20 km before Mancher. It was very scenic drive because of rain and fog.

There is 20rs entry at Bhimashankar and 50rs parking. Almost no mobile signal in Bhimashankar. There were almost 150 stairs and a big queue. It took almost 2 hrs for us to get Darshan. We enjoyed our selfie session while standing in queue. We also visited Sitaram temple which is in the same premise. There are no good restaurants and restrooms. We enjoyed vadapav, bhajiya and corn chat. We also bought "peda" sweet. My kid was thrilled when he watched monkeys jumping around and eating mangoes.
We wanted to visit Ozar ganpati but all time went due to traffic. While coming back it took us 1.25 hr for crossing 2 km. In rainy season, Sundays there is huge traffic jam so i would suggest you to avoid going on Sunday. We also stopped to click some pic on the way with scenic view of the Bhima dam. We reached pune at 9pm.
We had an amazing dinner at Bawarchi restaurant which is near Bhakti Shakti chawk.
Overall it was a good trip. Har Har Mahadev :)
