Day1:
We started at 9 am from Pune. We wanted to stay near Palande beach. With one lunch break we reached Palande @3:30pm. As it was a sudden trip we did not pre-book hotel. We searched hotel for stay and was surprised that on Thursday also most of the hotels were booked or asking more than they worth. It was very hot outside (mid May). Finally we stayed at "Shree Ganesh Sai" and got sea view room and was comparetively cool.We had our evening snacks (tea n Poha) and enjoyed sunset at Palane beach. Enjoyed Jeep parasuit ride (500rs for 2 person).
We went to Nisarg Restaurant which was 1 km away and had amazing Punjabi food.
Benefit of taking sea side room was that we were on the beach when we wanted and can enjoy seaside cool breeze very late.
Day2:
We woke up at 5:45am and went on Palande beach to enjoy morning.
Harnai Beach:
it is basically fish auction market so not much of a tourist spot for vegetarian people.Suvarnadurg Fort (In sea):
We left for Harnai Beach from where we wanted to hire a boat for visiting Swarndurg fort (It is situated in middle of the sea). Normally boat charge is 150rs per person but because there was no one else so we hired a special boat for 900rs and went to see it. The boat ride was very bumpy because of weather. Surrounding view was very nice. Fort looks very good from outside and entrance. There are 7 talavs. Boat sailer was in very hurry and there was not much to see inside so we concluded it in less then 30mins.Kanakdurg Fort (on land):
It is situated just above the place from where we got the boat to Swarndurg fort. There is nothing left here, now it is only light house. And not worth visiting, although Sea View from here was good.Kadyavarcha Ganpati temple (Near Anjarle Beach):
This is approximately 10km from Harnai beach. Very nice Ganpati temple. There is Siva temple also in the same campus. We also enjoyed Cocum, Amla soda and Jamun soda outside temple.Anjarle Beach:
It is approx 4 km away from Kadyavarcha Ganpati temple. It was 12:30pm and we thought let's go to Anjarle beach and have lunch near it. But in day time water comes to the shores so there was not even a single food stall. Someone mentioned that then come only in morning and evening when water is not at shore. We decided to had back to Nisarg Restaurant for lunch and then to hotel.
Murud beach:
In the evening we went here. There is a 20rs entry fee per vehicle by Murud Gram Panchayat. This beach is very commercial. Lot of food stalls and many water sport and activities to do. We had ice Gola, Sweet corn and Karvanda. Enjoyed banana ride (200rs per person) and Camel ride (250rs for 2 adults and 2 kids). We enjoyed the sunset and headed back to hotel. Road to Murud beach is very narrow. Two cars can hardly pass so we were stuck in traffic for 15mins.Day3:
