Ramoji Film City is perfect for all cinema lovers. It was built by Telugu film producer Ramoji Rao in 1996. It is also a popular tourism and it is the certified World's largest Film Studio Complex by the Guinness Book of World Records. It's a total of 1666 acres big.  Ramoji Film City can accommodate 20 film units at a time.
The very wide Film City needs one full day to visit. Staff members are very sincere and take proper care of visitors. Everything is well organized for your trip. Just follow them.
The actual film set and ticket counter are 7 km apart. Ramoji Film City provides buses to reach there (Eureka point). This is the main place where all the rides and shows are there.
Many will say you'll not be able to cover it but if you reach there by 9 AM you'll be able to finish everything by evening 6 PM.
Start from the opening ceremony (must watch 9:45 am) till the end of the day you will live every second in there and will not get bored for a second. Lots of activities and attractions.

Main Shows at Ramoji:

1 Filmi Duniya
2 Action Theatre - Filmmaking Experience:
This show is related to movie production, direction, editing, dubbing, etc. The process of filmmaking undertaken with the participation of visitors is wonderful.
3 Space Yatra - Virtual Sci-Fi Adventure
"Fundustan" - this is situated at Eureka and a good place for kids. So many activities and rides for kids. I liked Borasura - A magician's workshop.

Ramoji Studio Tour:

The studio tour has everything you can imagine in a film. From "Eureka Point", Classy vintage red color open buses are available inside which takes you from one place to another. The guide is also present on the bus who describes the film set in detail. The thing is that every 10-15 mins, you are visiting a new location and a new setting. This is not like a regular package tour where one tour host designated you a bus and provides you specific timings within which you have to return back. Here the experience is in such a manner that you can take all the time you need to truly enjoy every shoot premise, click some pictures, spend some time and then hop on to any of the Ramoji buses and move to the next location.
It has various shooting spots like London Street, Hollywood signage, Japanese gardens, market, airport, railway station, hospital, landscapes, buildings, bungalows, villages, central jail you can find everything.

Must-watch film sets in Ramoji:

1 Bhagavatam Mythological Set: Ramayan and Mahabharat sets are amazing and made with great detailing.
2 Hawa Mahal
3 Bahubali Set: One of the main attractions is the Bahubali set.
4 Godless Temple: This temple is not having any permanent god statue and used for shooting. Director can place any god statue as a pet their need.

Ramoji ECO Tour:

It’s a wonderful place and an awesome experience to see big, neatly maintained artistic gardens  -
1 Sanctuary Garden
2 Devayani Garden
3 Kerla Palm Garden
4 Japanese Garden
5 Vaman - Bonsai Garden

Furthermore many other nature interactive parks -
1Butterfly park,
2 Wings Exotic bird park etc.
Children will love to visit Butterfly park & Exotic Bird Park.
You will find many different birds and Butterflies in open. There are an aviary and caged bird inside which has a bigger and better collection than most of the Zoos. I loved going through the bird park.

We also visited the Kripalu caves and the Sun fountain.

Live performances are great too especially the stunt show and pride of Ramoji.
The day ends with the carnival parade but due to lack of time, we missed it.
Hats off to Ramoji... people like you are visionary and inspiration to others. It was value for money and well organized. A must-visit place in Hyderabad, India.
