Pune to Ganpatipule Trip

Pune to Ganpatipule trip -343 km

Pune to Ganpatipule Journey and Breaks:
We started at 7:45 am from Ravet, Pune. There were 3 tolls on the way which took 85, 60, 70 rs respectively. We reached Ganpatipule at 5:30. It took 10 hrs including below 3 breaks -
First, at 9am we stopped at "Vitthal Kamath" and had breakfast. It was good. The approximate bill for 4 people was 750rs.
Second, at 12pm we stopped for fresh sugarcane juice.
Third, at 3:30 pm, we stopped at "Ek Dant Garden Resort" for lunch. Punjabi food here was good. The ambiance was also good. There were few turkeys, few chickens, and 1 rabbit so my 3 yr old kid enjoyed it. We clicked a few amazing pics. The total bill for 4 people was 850rs only.

Stay@Ganpatipule:
We selected the "Center Point Residency" Hotel (096 37 602362) our stay. We got a good deal on the spot. The hotel had good service for hot water, electricity backup, and Tea and milk. Comfortable parking. Importantly it was at 5min walking distance from the beach

Shree Ganpatipule Temple@Ganpatipule Beach: on day1
We reached the temple at 6:30pm. There was a very little crowd so we got Darshan very easily. After darshan, we took some selfies. We had prasad (Namkeen Pulav and Halwa) there which was very tasty. It was too dark so we did not go to the beach. Anyways we were very tired after a long 10hr journey so we had our dinner and went back to the hotel for taking rest.

Jaigad (20km from Ganpatipule): On day2 we started at 8am towards Jaigad for visiting the below points and came back at 3pm to the hotel. We had lunch at Bhauji Bhojnalay. The quantity was less and it costed 1000rs for 4 people.
(1) Jaigad Fort: It is an unmanaged fort. No security no entry fee. This fort is on the ground, unlike other famous forts which are in the mountains. The view from the back wall is very nice. You can see the ocean and the JSW plant.
(2) Jaigad lighthouse: It is 500m from Jaigad fort. When we reached there it was closed so we couldn't take a close look at it.
(3) Karhateshwar Temple and Gaumukhi Ganga: This amazing Shiva temple is 6km from Jaigad fort. Ocean View from Gaumukhi Ganga is really breathtaking.
(4) Jai Vinayak temple: This temple is in between Ganpatipule and Jaigad fort. This is made as part of the JSW township. This is a very big and beautiful temple in the heart of a well-maintained garden. There are one Ganpati and one Hanuman Ji statue.

Ganpatipule Beach:
On day2 evening we went to the beach and enjoyed the sunset enjoyed. We enjoyed snacks and coconut water on the beach. We had a Chinese dinner at Sai Sagar restaurant. The food was good but the quality was very less. On our way to the hotel, we booked our morning massage appointment at "Panchkarm & Ayurvedic Massage Kendra".
On day3 we went to the Ganpatipule beach at 6:30am and enjoyed the sunrise. At 8am we went for the massage @"Panchkarm & Ayurvedic Massage Kendra" which is situated inside MTDC resort. I had a back massage and my friend had a foot massage. The massage was good. I would definitely recommend this to you. For breakfast, we had a sandwich, pizza at Foodies Express. It was a small shop but the quality and price were good.

Magic Garden:
On day 3 we went to Magic garden around 11:30am. It has 150rs fee per person. It was value for money. There were 5 shows-
(1) Infinite Hall
(2) Mirror Maze
(3) Horror House
(4) 3D adventure - 2 movies
(5) Magic show

Malgund beach: On day3 evening we went to Malgund beach which is 4km from Ganpatipule beach. Very less crowd and very calm. The tea stall vendor was very nice, he served our all orders at the place where we were sitting.
MTDC Tarang Restaurant: On day3 we had dinner here. Ambiance and food both were good.
Other things to see in Ganpatipule:
1 wax museum
2 Prachin Konkan museum

Ganpatipule to Pune:
On day4, We visited Karneshwar Temple (Shiva Temple)and Laxminarasinha Temple(Lord Narasimha), kasba, sangameshwar. Both are in one place and 42 km away from Ganpatipule. It was a very nice place and Pujari was very welcoming and told us history and Specialty about the temple.
We started towards Pune and took a small break for breakfast. We took Mangaon - tamhani ghat-mulshi-hinjawadi route and reach at 6pm. We took evening snacks at Shri RadhaKrishna hotel and ended our trip.
