FALTU (USELESS)

This article is inspired by a Hindi movie named “FALTU“. FALTU (USELESS) is the label that society puts on the Majority of students who get less grades.  This way of thinking definitely need change with some awareness. “Nothing is FALTU in this world. The things that people have thought useless, can be of great value. Just need to think from a different perspective. ”

“Yun to pathar ki bhi takdeer badal sakti hai,
shart ye hai k salike se Taraasha jaaye ”

No body is accepting this majority of students who are passed with less grades. Sadly  nobody even tries to understand what was the reason behind their less grades/percentage. Many a times students don’t know what they can do about it? nobody tries to help them to discover their purpose in life and key strengths to achieve it.  May be somebody can help them to understand what they love to do and how to covert that thing or hobby into their profession.

“Students who got less grades are never USELESS,
Its just they may be USED-LESS”.

Now a days everything is counted based on the education grades. And educational grades are mostly based on the theoretical knowledge. Does theoretical knowledge matter the most ? what if somebody is not good with cramming things.  May be s/he have excellent creativity or some other talent.  I know one person who has skipped the Rat-Race of the Grading system, followed his heart and made his hobby as his profession. It was not because he lacked of learning ability or he didn’t have a sharp mind. He was talented and creative. Point to be noted here is that he never got good grades, but he knew that what he likes.  He followed his passion and chose the work that he loved. Today he is a successful professional. His achievement are really commendable.
On the other hand I know a kid who is not interested in study and usually gets less grades. He likes to dance and people love him for that. I am afraid that if proper guidance is not given to him on time, he will probably end up with the tag “FALTU”.
I think Parents can play a significant role in understanding their kids interest and be their support. Parents should not be forcing their kids to follow grading rat-race because of their own aspirations or social perceptions. Also our Education System should include some kind of help mechanism to identify such students in early stage and provide some counseling to unwind their full potential.
What do u think guys?

The aim of education should be to teach us rather how to think, than what to think - rather to improve our minds, so as to enable us to think for ourselves, than to load the memory with thoughts of other men.
