Mangi Tungi Darshan

Mangi Tungi are the two mountain peaks near Taharabad about 125 km from Nashik, Maharashtra. It is a pilgrimage site of Digambar Jain. Height of Mangi is 4343 ft and that of Tungi is 4366 ft. There are well-maintained steps to go till the base of the peaks. There is a 108 ft tall statue of Rishabhdev, the first tirthankar in Jainism. It is famous with name as The Statue of Ahimsa and It is recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records as the tallest Jain idol in the world. There are many temples/caves on hill via a 4000-step climb. Mangi tungi is 320km from Ravet, Pune and takes around 7.5hr. On 28Dec2025 we started our journey from Ravet, Pune at 7am. At 10:30am we took a 30min break for breakfast and continued towards Namokar tirth which is on the way to Mangi Tungi ji. Ravet to Namokar tirth(251km 5hr 30min.
